To analyze the factors of forging cracks,the forging process of Cr2 0 Ni8 0 electrothermal alloy was numerically simulated by Deform software and the influencing factors of cracks were analyzed according to stress and strain.The results show that with the passage of time,the temperature of Cr20Ni80 alloy gradually decreases,and the forging stress increases gradually.In addition,when the Cr20Ni80 alloy is forged at 1200 centigrade,the maximum stress is much lower than the tensile strength (650 MPa),and the high quality forgings can be obtained.In order to avoid the generation of microcracks, the forging temperature should be between 910 ℃ and 1200 ℃.
