In order to study the effect of different Mn content ER5356 aluminum alloy welding wire and welding current on the performance of welding head,In this experiment, ER5356 aluminum alloy welding wire with 0.05% and 0.15% manganese content was used. The 6082 aluminum alloy was welded by TIG at 110 A, 115 A and 125 A welding currents. The results show that ER5356 (0.15%Mn) aluminum alloy welding wire was welded. The overall performance of the obtained welded joint is better than that of welded joints welded by ER5356 (0.05%Mn) wire. Mn can improve the mechanical properties of the welded joints, thereby improving the welding quality of aluminum alloys. As the welding current increases, the quality of weld formation improves. When the welding current is 125 A, there are no macro defects such as welding hot cracks, and there is almost no incomplete penetration in the fracture of the welded joint, the matching coefficient of welded joints can reach up to 0.71.
