Abstract:In this paper, CoCu alloy (CCA) nanoparticles decorated ruddlesden-popper (RP) type layered perovskite PrSr(CoCu)0.2Mn0.8O4-δ(RP-PSCCM) ceramic anode has been in-situ reduction method. Crystal structure and morphology of the precipitated nanoparticles on the surface of the anode were confirmed by XRD and SEM. Conductivity of RP-PSCCM-CCA, polarization impedance of symmetric cell with RP-PSCCM-CCA anode in H2 have been studied, the results indicate that RP-PSCCM-CCA shows a good catalytic activity. Moreover, the RP-PSCCM-CCA-GDC/LSGM/LSCF-GDC single cell exhibits a maximum power density of 696 mW/cm2 at 800 ℃, and excellent coking resistance in C3H8. Overall, RP-PSCCM-CCA has been demonstrated as promising anode materials for SOFCs.
