Abstract:The basic properties of titanium alloy materials and the problems in the cutting of titanium alloy is briefly introduced. Combined with the results of research on titanium alloy cutting in recent years, the research status of improving the cutting performance of titanium alloy is reviewed from the aspects of titanium alloy cutting tools, cutting technology and simulation of titanium alloy cutting. And the development and possibility of tool structure, cooling process and simulation technology for future titanium alloy cutting are also prospected.
