Abstract:Fretting wear is common in key parts in the aerospace industry. As an important component of aero-engines, aluminum alloy casings are prone to cause fretting wear due to the harsh working environment, which affects the normal operation of the engine. Improving its fretting wear resistance has become the focus of research. The anti-fretting wear materials are mainly divided into soft materials and hard materials. The selection of suitable materials according to different working conditions is extremely important to prevent fretting wear. Surface coating technology is one of the main protective measures against fretting wear. Thermal spraying, vapor deposition, and electroplating are often used to prepare protective coatings on the surface of the substrate, which has high preparation efficiency, high density of the coating layer, and strong binding force, widely used in the field of engineering. The full text introduces the anti-fretting wear coating materials and surface coating technology, and puts forward the future research prospects of anti-fretting wear coatings.
